The Cowboys let Johnson fall and pounced. Final grade: B. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kaleb Johnson got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at slot 136. No fireworks, but a solid B.
Ferguson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
It is not that Jackson is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
