Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cardinals spent pick 241 on Sam Hartman, a name the board had a full 41 spots lower. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.

That Nubin pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Hit on Marvin Harrison Jr. and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
