A costly weekend of dealing drags the Commanders to a B.

When a board-topper like Savion Williams slides to the 127th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Commanders did not.

Travis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Winston Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, quarterback and other spots.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
