Getting Baker where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They are betting Raym proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, D.K. Metcalf leading the way.

In the end it comes back to Dallas Turner, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
