The Ravens clearly saw something nobody else did in Khalid Duke, taking him 41 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Ford at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
