The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Nick Emmanwori, the No. 20 name on the board, in Round 2, Pick 12.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. With cornerback, linebacker and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

They will need Nelson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
