The Commanders drew a line under the quarterback search with Williams: B-.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Fautanu pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
