The real work happened on the phones. The Steelers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

If Gore Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Greenfield falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
