Overall

FutureB-
The Bengals lost the trade table, and the C- tells the story. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Kaimon Rucker at slot 118, a reach of 33 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.
However the rest shakes out, Pierce at that price is a win they earned. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
Pick Analysis
Pick17
Rnd1
Walter Nolen
In slot 17 they get a wrecking ball inside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick49
Rnd2
Harold Fannin Jr.
Harold Fannin Jr. at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick77
Rnd3
Dylan Fairchild
Dylan Fairchild in the 77th overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick81
Rnd3
Jack Bech
Value with a capital V on Jack Bech in pick 81, a genuine coup. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick118
Rnd4
Kaimon Rucker
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Kaimon Rucker. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick145
Rnd5
Hollin Pierce
A offensive lineman of that caliber at pick No. 145 is the definition of value, full stop. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick154
Rnd5
Cobee Bryant
This one needs a full-page explanation: Cobee Bryant in the 154th pick, miles early. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick195
Rnd6
DJ Giddens
You do not let a running back like DJ Giddens reach No. 195 and blink. They did not. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
