The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bengals and Simpson: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. Jaylin Simpson, the No. 137 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They will need Proctor to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
