The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bengals watched TreVeyon Henderson slide 64 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Wease Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
