Mondon Jr. should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Smael Mondon Jr. at pick No. 153 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Vinson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
