The Bengals let Johnson fall and pounced. Final grade: D.

The phones were a trap the Bengals kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. Landing Johnson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

If Logue pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
