The Bengals checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

The Addison West pick is the one that will follow the Bengals into the fall. They took him 68 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Gadsden II at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
