The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: Jalen McMillan, the No. 81 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 4 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Reaching for Harrell left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Skyy Moore deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
