The Bengals let Ransom fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: John Williams, 47 picks early at the Round 6 slot. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Ezeiruaku pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback.
