You could see the war room lean forward. Makhi Hughes at the 89th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
