Larceny in the 185th overall pick lands the Bengals a A-, Taaffe and all.

Somebody in the 185th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bengals sat still while Michael Taaffe, the No. 111 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Cooper Beebe gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Emeka Egbuka and all.
