The Bengals let Johnson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Tez Johnson at pick No. 149 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

With cornerback, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
