The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bengals watched Tommi Hill slide 20 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Wease Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
