Castro should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bengals walked out of the weekend still thin at cornerback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That Castro pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They are betting Cox proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
