The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bengals reached some 67 spots for Hayden Hatten, and value like that does not grow back.

The McGlothern steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
