The Bengals checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bengals spent the 224th pick on Carson Steele, a name the board had a full 102 spots lower. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

However the rest shakes out, McGlothern at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
