Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Ricky Pearsall got past him. The Bengals do not have to explain a thing at Round 7, Pick 17. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The cost of the Davis reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
