Boards are made to be trusted, and the Bengals shredded theirs for Tahj Brooks. He came off 24 spots early, and the room will hear about it. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They banked enough surplus on McCoy to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
