The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named tight end, a need the Bengals walked right past. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

On value alone, Sawyer makes the weekend a net positive. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
