The Bengals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Gavin Bartholomew in No. 238, a good 50 spots before the room expected him.

However the rest shakes out, Jenkins at that price is a win they earned. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Jenkins pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
