Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Dominic Lovett got past him. The 49ers do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 248. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
