You build a draft on nights like this. Cody Simon had no business being available in pick 233, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

Every board in the league had Clark lower, and that gap is the story. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
