The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Caleb Williams, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That Beebe pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Kenneth Walker III gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
