You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bears took Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins at Round 7, Pick 24, roughly 153 spots before his name belonged. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

Getting Gadsden II where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

So much rides on Will Campbell that the real verdict is a season or two away.
