The Chiefs did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Xavier Watts fell into the 63rd pick. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Batty left real value on the table behind him. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
