If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Giants, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Lance pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. However the rest shakes out, Styles at that price is a win they earned.

Jayden Higgins gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
