The Bears won the night they stopped Newton from sliding. Grade: C+.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Bears did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Newton at that price is a win they earned.
