Nix is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a A-. The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Bo Nix, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.
Franklin at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Robinson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The phones were where this weekend was really won.
A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.
In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
