Boards are made to be trusted, and the Bears shredded theirs for Braelon Allen. He came off 41 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Whatever Caleb Williams becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
