Larceny in slot 256 lands the Bears a A-, Williams and all.

You could see the war room lean forward. Isaiah Williams at the Round 7 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The veteran additions, Bobby Wagner chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, with Laiatu Latu leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
