After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

On value alone, Laube makes the weekend a net positive. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The cost of the Mahogany reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
