Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Every board in the league had Bell lower, and that gap is the story. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
