The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

So much rides on Bo Nix that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. Reaching for Booker left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

They banked enough surplus on Flournoy to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
