The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
