The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

The Cohen reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
