The trade table was where it all came apart. The Commanders shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

The cost of the Frazier reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.

In the Round 1 slot they get an enforcer at safety at a price that makes it sweeter. Need was not the driver here.

Omarion Hampton slid further than he should have, and No. 39 is lovely value for the running back. The roster fit checks out.

No drama and no debate, Jihaad Campbell went about where he belonged in pick No. 41. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.

A straight-up fair deal on Azareye'h Thomas at slot 61, value and slot in agreement. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
