FutureB-
Nobody dealt better than the Bears this weekend: B+. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Brownlee Jr. at that price is a win they earned.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Malik Nabers
In Round 1, Pick 4 they get a true top target at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick9
Rnd1
Joe Alt
In the 9th overall pick they get an anchor for the offensive line. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick75
Rnd3
Michael Hall Jr.
Michael Hall Jr. at No. 75 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick111
Rnd4
Beau Brade
No drama and no debate, Beau Brade went about where he belonged in slot 111. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick123
Rnd4
Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jarvis Brownlee Jr. at the 123rd pick is the proof. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick143
Rnd5
Jalyx Hunt
A slide stopped in pick No. 143, with Jalyx Hunt worth more than the price. Where it fits the depth chart is the real question.
