The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Franklin. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
