Best value of the weekend goes to the Bears for Mafah: B+.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Phil Mafah got past him. The Bears do not have to explain a thing at slot 233. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
