You build a draft on nights like this. Cam Skattebo had no business being available in slot 201, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
