The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 76 spots for Wesley Williams, and value like that does not grow back. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Bernard pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.
