The Bears turned the phones into found money: B+. The Bears torched the value chart for Mekhi Wingo, taking him 54 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.
The Fautanu value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The Bears indulged a want in Holker while a need in edge rusher stayed open.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
