After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The cost of the Limmer reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Javon Kinlaw leading the way.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
